Someone needs to make a big budget Hollywood movie out of General Butlers life. It might go a long way to saving this country from all those right wing blabber mouths who promote war but avoid service like Rush Limbaugh who got out for a permanent boil on his ass in an area I guess he was to fat to reach to clean.

@SilverShieldGrp Gen. Butler was passed over for CMC....you did know that, didn't you? In every sence he's a patriot, and I think he stopped corporations from taking over the U.S.A. and inculcating a fascist regime. Semper Fi. I can say that because I served and it's a part of me. He didn't give a rat fart for power once he got some distance and saw the U.S. for what it is---exceptional, yes, but flawed by the people who worship greed.

Most Americans know little if anything about Smedley Butler because TPTB don't want us to know. We have become a nation of gullible sheeple instead of a nation of empowered citizens. Why? Because an educated and fully informed citizenry is a threat to the liars and theives in government. It's not called Washington, District of Criminals (DC) for nothing!
