I did this in a modified open G: EGDGBD. I've seen live clips where he's doing it in standard tuning, but in a recent issue of Guitar World, he said it was open G. So I don't know what to think.

  • Cudos on working so hard, I hope your making money! you've got some swag and it shows in your playing. Hopefully in a few years i have a channel like yours. your my role model hombre.

  • Can u like make a video of a lesson to go with this

  • @privettricker Got it, thanks! Now for the slide solo! I love slide playing. I have a video lesson to help with that though. BTW im sticking to open G, it seems easier on the fretting hand.

  • @brunel23 That's just back to G, so I have the strings unfretted there. It may look like I'm fretting something at the 2nd fret, so I can see what you mean. But just leave that as a G chord.

  • @privettricker Its at roughly 29 seconds.

  • @brunel23 I'm actually not playing any chords in the 2nd fret. Can you tell me the time in the video where that chord you're talking about shows up?

  • @privettricker The last chord in the sequence which is G. You seem to be playing it around the 2nd fret - Im interested in knowing what the fingering is

  • @brunel23 Time code?

  • Great video, How are you playing the G chord just before the turnaround? Ive tried playing it at the 3rd fret in standard tuning and 5th fret in open g and both ways are painful. My fingers cant reach that far! (Pinky rock 7,8,7th fret). Thanks
