Sharing the Life of Jona Torres

In August 2009, at the age of 15, Jona Torres was diagnosed with a rare and incurable form of bone cancer. Throughout his battle with the cancer, God enabled Jona to respond with trust and contentment, knowing that God is always good. Jona knew that because of Christ's death on the cross and the faith Jona was placing in Him alone, no matter what the outcome of the battle -- whether healing here on earth or going Home to heaven -- Jona was "a winner." Jona's greatest desire was that people would see Jesus Christ in his life and want to have the same personal relationship with Jesus Christ that he had. Jona's battle with cancer ended on April 20, 2011. While his family and friends miss him greatly, Jona's life is not over. It has only just begun.

"I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?"

Gracias por compartirlo, realmente fue de mucha bendicion, recordar cuan bueno fue Dios que nos permitio tenerlos tantos años, yo pude vivir 18 años de mi vida con mi papá, y es maravilloso saber que el Señor me lo dio esos años, y bueno, cumplio el proposito que Dios tenia para el aqui en la tierra al igual que Jona, ahora ya estan en su presencia, Dios es un Dios soberano, Dios es bueno
