Similar to the high jump, I pasted every attempt I had on tape. These are primarily misses late in the competition but it does include at least one attempt from all four medalists, plus one from Doug Lytle of the United States. The gold medal effort is shown at the end, after Tully's final miss.

GOLD - Pierre Quinon (FRA), 5.75m (18-10 1/4)
SILVER - Mike Tully (USA), 5.65m (18-6 1/2)
BRONZE - Earl Bell (USA), 5.60m (18-4 1/2)
BRONZE - Thierry Vigneron (FRA), 5.60 (18-4 1/2)
