Hi,

We made a Bear Charming/Taming guide to use in presearing so you can finally watch how you can Charm/Tame a bear pet in Presearing!




We saw that some text could be hard to read cause youtube can mess a bit with the videos... so here is all the text of the video :

Ever Wanted to Tame a Bear as pet in presearing ?

In this video we will show you how you can..

But First we need to tell you this...

It is very easy to charm a bear, but it requires 2 people
If you cannot charm the bear in 2 tries, kill it and try a different bear.
You may get lucky and get the very first bear, this is normal, but dont expect it to happen.
You may run trough several or all the bears in Wizards Folley.

Ok, Now we will show you the steps...

Instructions for taming a bear are easy:

1. The charmer attempts to stay just outside of aggro range the whole time and in directly the opposite direction that the runner is going to run (it helps the charmer for the runner to ping on the radar where the charmer needs to stand).

2. Runner attains aggro on a bear and prepares to run the moment the bear uses its skill ''Brutal Mauling''.

3. Charmer casts ''Charm Animal'' on the bear the moment the bear uses ''Brutal Mauling'' and the runner begins to run.

4. Simple as that, if you're timing is good and you got a cooperative bear you should be enjoying a new pet companion.

Ok, Now you have seen all the instructions, we will let you see how we did it...

As soon as you see that the skill ''Brutal Mauling'' will be casted by the bear
(The Runner Runs!)

Cast ''Charm Animal''

The bear will chase the runner and tries to use the skill ''Breaking Charm'' to break your skill : ''Charm Animal''

And there is your bear!

Ok, now you did see how easy it is to tame a bear ;)

Now you can go tame a bear with your friend, GOOD LUCK !

Big question: Are bears supposed to still have their Brutal Mauling skill once you charm them. Because its decreasing the overall damage that its doing. Also is it possible to death level bears?

Sorry but I dont know the answer anymore at both questions... I think it still has the skill though, but dont know for sure ;)

Ummm... presearing doesn't have any menagerie xD that's why people try to tame it. It's a bit exclusive ;)

Sometimes it depends on the bear. I've found that certain bears have more aggro towards the caster, or a wider range on Breaking Charm (for whatever reason), so if one continuously breaks charm, kill it and find another. There are like 15 to choose from in Wizard's Folly.

i don't know man.. i'm trying but it's just not working the stupid bear is casting the interrupt from out of spells range and still it interrupts :S
