Instead, I downloaded skydrow's version, which worked just as god.

Dear Developpers, Please be aware that if this game features Ubisoft "always connected to their server" DRM, a group of gamers will not be buying this game, as to not support this type of DRM.
Instead they will be pirating it, just like people who want to play offline.
This latest type of DRM is actually hurting legitimate customers, and increasing piracy, by making the pirated version the better deal, where less invasive DRM, will hurt the customer less, and gives less incentive to pirate.

@marcusanddoom Yeah, it's been confirmed that it's going to be on PC, PS3, and 360. I've been waiting for a game like this for a long time. Can't wait! :)
