Video from our visit to Ostia Antica, just outside of Rome. Ostia was an ancient sea port that served as Rome's major access point to the Mediterranean. The location is remarkably large and well-preserved. And, unlike the ruins within the city of Rome, Ostia is uncrowded and isolated from much of the modern world. In some places, all you can see in every direction is ancient architecture. It's the most breathtaking place I've ever seen.
