Give it a few years, Waukegan will be classy as ever if they keep up the downtown renovations. The Genesee Theater was just the start, I love what they have done since, with the sidewalks and streets.

I haven't lived in Waukegan since 1969, but I remember going to see movies there. It's great that they are renovating the area.

@kumabearkuso They're actually showing classic movies in there again. Just saw Jaws last Saturday. The part of the city that is south of Washington is still pretty bad but the north side is doing very well.
