ASR made the most of the good May Bank Holiday weather by laying several five-tonne anchors blocks onto Boscombe seabed.

The anchors were accurately placed in positions surrounding the surf reef site using a team of diving and marine construction experts.

This work has been done in preparation for the laying of the second layer of the surf reef. The second layer is in several sections and will be deployed separately when weather conditions are absolutely flat and perfect i.e. there is no swell, wind and little tidal movement.
