  • Alrighty if you have already then I apologize for being retarded and asking but here I go ^_^

I am in love with this hijab style and I believe I purchased the same one mainly just for this style and I would love it if you could recreate it. See I am hijabicapped and not the best with styles.

And I did search your videos and couldnt find a style similar to this so if i did miss it i am sowwy

    Plezz forgive me lol

  • @ValleyGurlFrmHell lol hijabicapped... This is a recreation of 'The Alex' tutorial (minus the headband on the forehead), BUT the 'triangle' in the corner of the hijab is really small so it doesn't reach the end (because this scarf is smaller than the one I used in that vid). Give it a go & show me!

  • I love your videos!

  • @Somariamlicious aw yey :o)

  • great tips! I am personally suffering from this issue, my hair loss was actually caused by my under-scarf believe it or not, I understand ur point about how it reduces friction, but also keep in mind how tight its tied..I used to tie it really tight and as a result i lost a lot of hair from my hairline...so yeah! UNDER SCARFS DO HELP BUT BE CAREFUL HOW TIGHT U TIE THEM! oh and another tip is to brush or tie ur hair in different directions so its not always pulled back, i hope that makes sense

  • @DazzlingGemzz Thank you! Definitely tie the underscarf LOOSE and not at the roots of your hairline, because then they will pull back on the hair there = hair loss from hairline

  • aa, this was a nice videos, JazakAllah. Like you said postpartum, vitamin deficiency but also stress, or illness can just trigger your body to do funny things. Just remember the hair is always replacing itself so it may seem like your losing alot but its also replacing itself so have a good healthy varied diet, and inshallah that should help. Oh and too much hairstyling looks good but is baaaad for your hair, i.e bleaching, perming etc Its a sunnah to use oil in your hair - so do it its good.

  • i remember watching this when it came out, and i was like 'oh, thank god this doesnt have to do with me!' and stopped watching.

now im here, months later, freaking out because my hair is falling out.

this video made me call down SO much! thanks soo much!!! <3 <3 now i shall be so much more careful!!

  • Olive oil in hair before wash, olive or coconut after; hair in LOOSE bun during hijab; and light weight, STRETCHY hijab is essential to comfort and hair care!!! most important thing is stretchy hijab, so hard to find!

  • I always found it odd when experts recommend using a satin or silk pillowcase to prevent breakage, and hijab experts as well recommending soft scarves..because it makes me wonder...wouldn't all our body be falling out and breaking from our clothes? (I wish lol) :P. Head hair must be different i guess! Anyways I enjoyed your video and lotsa good tips there. Wearing an underscarf kinda sucks though. I've stopped wearing them. They just flatten my hair way too much. I'ma try a workaround...hmm

  • Moroccan Oil is the best thing that I have come across. It's wonderful! I also don't wash my hair every day. Helps keep the natural oils in my hair and it doesn't stay so fragile. Sulfate free shampoos are wonderful!

  • I'm anaemic too yay! I know I sound retarded but everyone thought it was because of me being a hijaabi.

  • I thought this at first, but was just that at the end of the day when I brushed my hair, it was coming out all at once instead of throughout the day. I was also slightly anaemic, I went on iron tablets and the problem is solved.

  • Alhumdulillah! Thank you so much for doing this video! I have had some difficulty with my hair since I started wearing hijab. InshaAllah this video will be as helpful to other sisters as it was to me. MashaAllah, Amena you are amazing! : D

  • @Amenakin I actually have a small recommendation, i joined a hair site a few months back, and they were really good about teaching about proper hair care, its called hairlistadotcom, and they have tips and tricks everyone can use really, and there are more, idk them all though

  • Asalamu alaykum Sister Amena n Sisters....

There is an amazing Chocolate Leave in conditioner out there....it's called Seibella chocolate Leave in....it's brilliant...I can really recommend it....

  • when my hair gets dry in the winter, i use a hair mask using extra virgin olive oil. it does wonders!

  • @acutee2 Have you tried thin scarves instead of thick cotton ones, also try not wrapping them as tight around the head and try wearing them looser. I don't know if this helps but inshalAllah it does xx
