World Champion Bike Messenger - Craig Etheridge

When Craig Etheridge went to the Bike Messenger World Championship in Guatemala, he didn't think he would win. In fact, it was his first trip to the competition. In the small town of Panajachel, Craig was the first of 50 competitors to navigate the confusing and often unpaved streets to take home the title. Craig is back at work in Seattle now, delivering all over the city for KNR Couriers.

We met up with Craig downtown, and decided to put his skills to the test.

Funny. I met Craig before the Singlespeed Cyclocross World Championships. I noticed he had on a Cycle Messenger World Championship bag, so I struck up a conversation since I know the organizer from this year. We talked about Guatamala and Seattle, but he never mentioned that he WON the CMWCs. I found out the next day. Super nice, down to earth guy. Good to see folks like that win races!
