Mike Maltese, one of Warner Bros. best cartoon writers from 1940 through 1959, wrote this one, 'kozmon0t', as well as virtually all of Quick Draw's scripts.
Originally syndicated in September 1961. The opening is a parody of "DEATH VALLEY DAYS", which was originally introduced by "The Old Ranger" (Stanley Andrews), who set the scene for the evening's story. Baba "curses" about Quick Draw's singing in "mock Spanish" at 3:32 [it's "mock" because he mutters about tortillas and enchiladas!].
