Back in 2001 i lead a small team of 16 programmers, the team was called the Cross Entertainment Team, our focus was to make small free videogames for the public by using any tools.
one of my favorite tools was DarkBasic, it was easy to use and it was a lot of fun to work with.
I have always been a leader of some form of small online team and still am ever since i discovered the internet, and got addicted to it, and at some point or another i always had a website.
well this game was made just before the Team broke apart, this game was never completed and after all this years i managed to get me a working copy of Darkbasic and managed to compile it for windows 7 at first the game ran so fast i could not really control it then i had to add a line of code to slow things down a bit.
there are some corrupted files in the game i could not recover but it was good enough for this video.
but if there is any doubt here it is, this is quite literally the predecessor to the popular AGRA Races in SecondLife
This game was entirely made by me, including the music, i was about 15 years old when i made it, O.o i was one heck of a kid....compared to my lazy ass today... xD
Very nice Grav
