  • You wish? Why don't you just do it. You should take those bodybuilders with multiple sclerosis, parkinsons disease and those old people starting bodybuilding at their 70's as an example of human ability to repair itself and work without limitations. Don't be a couch potato, be an example of what a human being should be like.

  • Only if by "exercise science community" you mean the same idiots who brought us the elliptical machine, Tae Bo, the thighmaster, Nautilus, steroids, the "low fat diet" and step aerobics--trends that cost loads of money, and not only fail to deliver results, but actually harm the body.

    People stopped using kettlebells because a: they deliver really painfully grueling workouts and b: a corporation can't make money off a one-time $100 purchase.

  • @wkfung108 the problem isnt the elliptical machines or the tae bo's or even the aerobics, the problem is that folks get bored with the excorsizes and dont do them anymore so the results slow down and eventualy stop. if someone buys kettlebells and dont use them then its still a waist of money. an elliptical or tae bo vids are also a 1 time purchas. i do preffer kettle bells as you do though and lets face it, their just challenging and fun to use!
