@CaptainPengu These kids will never pick up games like starcraft or supreme commander and look back to say you know I feel like I challenged myself enough, tested myself enough to think about how to do something and How I can beat a person in unquie way, by out witting them. Now I maybe over reacting on you personally I know I've written to many words to say the same thing but as you feel as you feel wether you care about what I have to say or not. I belive after starcraft 2 RTS are gone.

@CaptainPengu My brother who has kids play Xbox, and they got this RTS game based off the Halo games, I tried it out it wasn't RTS and thats when I realised these game companies don't give a shit if we debate over them like this as long as they get money; But our opinions have never been about the money it's about the fact that we feel that corrupts so much of who we are and as we grow in age these kids who grow up playing these waterd down excuses for RTS will never remember it's roots >

I wouldn't dislike the game as much if it didn't take it's general formula and throw it in the garbadge I liked DoW 1 because it was differnt not your everyday Warcraft 3 clone, But this went so far back in what DoW 1 brought to the table its like a dumbed down Warcraft 3! @CaptainPengu I can see how striping a game of it's races as acceptable... I do! start with a fresh slate for people knew to the game I actually liked tyranids from the table top game, Then they took the buildings, the caps, the ammount of units, made the heros way to powerful... And then I realized I wasn't playing Dawn of War 2, I was playing something no more challenging than playing a mario game. Oh the online play, can't forget it the game basicaily rubs in your face as soon as one >

@steeveeo711 add the tyranids too, I was waiting for the day when relic would announce an expansion for the orginal to have them ( I Suspected winter assault) Because if you've played the table top you'd know that Imperial guard are always fighting them but it never happend; But yeah i'm backing what your saying 100%

Stupid, because it'd be just the same thing over and over.

I am very glad that Relic decided to do some innovative things, even if there was a bit of backlash in the community in the end.
