In the previous episode, Demi, Joe and Selena go to a friend's 18th birthday party. They enjoyed the party but during it, Demi wanted to talk to Joe.

HERE'S THE STORY-
Demi:Hey Joe, c-can I talk to you for a sec?
Joe:Sure. *gets up and follows her*
Demi:....
Joe:What's up?
Demi:Umm I dunno how to say this but...
Joe:Yeah?
Demi:*sigh*I-
Joe:..
Demi:*can't say it*I uh, hope you're enjoying the party.
Joe:*confused*Uhmm thanks. It's pretty cool.
Demi:*mad at herself*
Joe:*staring at her in her pretty dress with the lights flashing*
Demi:Are you okay?
Joe:Y-yeah. You just look really pretty tonight.
Demi:Thanks.*sad*
Joe:So um, we should get back to the party..
Demi:Okay.
AFTER THE PARTY AT DEMI'S-
Selena:So did you tell him?!
Demi:No, I was so stupid!
Selena:Well, what'd you say?
Demi:First I was all like, "I don't know how to say this..."
Selena:Uh huh..
Demi:Then I just couldn't say it. I was like, "I..uhh, hope you're enjoying the party."
Selena:Oh..
Demi:See? Gosh that was so lame..I mean who says that? I don't know why I got scared.
Selena:Well, you were nervous so I guess that's how.
Demi:I just hope that Joe isn't embarrassed to talk to me.
Selena:Why would he? He would be the luckiest guy in the world to have you.
Demi:*smiles*Thanks Sel.
Selena:That's what best friends are for.
Demi:You always know what to say.
Selena:*giggles*I know.
Demi:*laughs*Dork.
Selena:But I'm your dork!
Demi:*smiles*
