  • I was already doing these ab crunches before I got pregnant, so its nice to know that I can still keep doing them safely.

  • You can do ab exercises in the first Trimester, but after that, you cannot do anything lying flat on your back. Contracting ab muscles whilst sitting or standing is fine.

  • its totally ok to work your abs while pregnant...

  • yeah, you're not supposed to work your abs when you're pregnant. duh.

  • This exercise should only be done in the absence of diastassis recti..regular evaluation of your rectus abdominus is neccesary.

    In addition stabilizing the external support and working the obliques with non twisting oblique work ...andrea../fitmomfitness
