This is my first model engineering attempt, the Gauge One Project, being tested on a rolling road. The loco runs well on my local club track and benefits from meths firing and cylinder drain cocks. It is a single cylinder model with slip eccentric valve gear.

  • Yes, I've modified the 4F style firebox and the cab to make it more like a Maunsell Southern Q class. The loco number is an Eastleigh based locomotive.
