Personally, yes. FinalCut is pretty much the same thing as iMovie HD as far as I can tell. It works the same, however FinalCut has more effects and a video generator, and it more professional feeling.

I actually used iMovie HD. Recently I received FinalCut as a gift, so from now on, i'll be using that.

I use Adobe Premiere(editing video), and Adobe Photoshop CS4(for some of the special effects)

All of the effects are definitely great and way beyond my capability. I entered the contest too, but mine is all basic. it's number 10. great job :]

Yeah. That's exactly what happens with me. Just out of curiosity, what program did you use to edit your video?

Wow, that's a long time, I know it takes a great deal to edit a video and it irks me sometimes when people put down videos they have no clue how many hours and thinking one person does to make it.
I know, the begining always take forever for me to edit, but you learn form it, right?

Sorry. I meant five and a half to six hours to edit. The first 20 seconds did take 45 minutes to edit though.
