DONT EAT RAW SWEET POTATOES!
I am into raw foods and i eat most of my veg raw. But sometimes not all veg should be eaten raw! Sweet potato contains a trypsin inhibitor. It this toxin can only be deactivated through cooking.
We eat raw foods for the enymes etc, well, if u eat raw sweet potato, the inhibitor will put a strain on ur body to make more of its own enymes defeating the purpose of eating the 'raw' potato. My advise, cook the potato, rince under cold water, then add to this recipe.

Sweet potatoes raw aren't good for you sorry to break it to you if you consume a good amount your body isn't able to absorb protein Raw sweet potatoes contain a chemical called trypsin inhibitor, which inhibits the activity of an enzyme that your body needs to digest protein. The trypsin inhibitor in sweet potatoes is almost entirely inactivated when you cook them.
