When Hardy Jones first witnessed and documented the slaughtering of dolphins in Japan in 1979, he knew he had to do something to stop it. But when the world whaling commission sanctions more dolphin killing to make up for lost whale harvests and there is the risk of offending Japanese culture and tradition, the task is not a simple one. Almost thirty years since Hardy started on his mission to save dolphins, much has been accomplished, but there is still work to be done. Join Hardy as he travels to Japan and shows us how we can help - just by visiting www.bluevoice.org.

  • STOP THE KILLING

    IT's WRONG !

AND YES FACTORY FARMING IS WRONG TOO, BUT THE ISSUE IF *THIS* VIDEO HERE IS THE NEEDLESS SICK BRUTALITY AGAINST DOLPHINS !

STOP KILLING DOLPHINS AND WHALES, PERIOD>

  • do you realize that pigs are highly intelligent animals? Yet, no one seems to care about eating them. If you went to India and asked for a steak, you'd probably get slapped because, in their culture, cows are sacred. This is just culture difference. You can't condemn this if you eat factory farmed meat where the animals never see the sun, live in their own poo and are killed brutally. THAT is the reality. It's hypocrisy to eat meat and yet condemn this just because its dolphins.

  • @thestarduster the killings go on and they don't say it's necessarily for the meat! watch the cove and you will see ...they just kill the non flipper looking like ones because they are useless...

  • OK let me get this straight.

The hunting of dolphins in Japan is wrong.

The hunting of elks, wolves and deer in the U.S. is right?

Umm, am I the only one who see's something wrong here?

  • don't be silly... dolphins don't cry...

  • @thestarduster Yeah but there's a difference between eating them for food, and mass slaughtering them for pest control, dolphins shouldn't even be eaten due to their high levels of mercury, what the Japanese are doing is just plain wrong, don't compare their actions to what we do as a civilization to survive, there is no survival in this, it's just cruelty and greed, all of the bastards responsible for this should be laid in a tank of acid while getting stabbed repeatedly by harpoons

  • Dolphins cannot cry. It does not matter if one dies, deal with it. They are going to be killed, and hopefully some smart human being shoots you down in the middle of the street, tree-fucker.

  • Faroe Islands in Denmark, they r killing loads Same culture of eating marine mammals in European. The porpoise , sea animal of the dolphin family are popular food in 15th-18th Century. There r many recipes of porpoise (even for the King) from West Europe.
