Iraq begin 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign 05 Feb 08

The Iraq national team prepare to play in their first international match since stunning the football world by lifting the 2007 Asian Cup. Iraq will play their first 2010 World Cup qualifier in Dubai, even though the game is supposed to be a 'home' tie. But Iraq's footballers may not have to lead their nomadic existence for much longer. Al Jazeera's Karthi Gnanasegaram reports from Dubai.
