Composed and played on stage simultaneously 'on-the-spot' by all ten pianists, Michael Allen Harrison demonstrates an impromptu ten-piano melody.
"Ten Grands" features ten grand pianos and ten concert pianists playing a variety of classical and modern pieces both simultaneously and individually.
For the first time, "Ten Grands" has taken its show on the road; north to Seattle, Washington's Benaroya Hall on May 17, 2008. In addition to raising funds for The Snowman Foundation, this performance also benefited PONCHO (Patrons of Northwest Civic, Cultural and Charitable Organizations). The organization strives to create a diverse and expansive community which celebrates and supports the vitality and variety of the arts.
This is sort of smelling like that bald piano guy on pbs,
I am so removed from this complete waste of pianos.
I can ruin things so much more quickly than all these guys.
