The Moon bear, also called Asian Black Bear, has a gentle temper and a white crescent moon mark on the chest.

These bears are trapped in small cages and are forced to lie down. They cannot curl or turn. A plastic or metal tube is inserted into a bear's gall to extract its bile every day. Many bears are suffering from the extraction many times a day for over twenty years.

Since gall connects to the liver, virus and bacteria will contaminate the bile and cause the gall to deteriorate and inflame. These issues will later cause liver cirrhosis and liver cancer.

According to statistics from Animal Asia, about 7,000 bears now suffer from bile extraction in China.But there are already at least 54 herbs that can achieve the same medical effect as bear bile, including Japanese Honeysuckle and Chrysanthemum.

Can you simply be a bystander?

The only way to end the moon bears' pain is to abolish the bile extraction.

Save moon bear from this very moment...

Do not purchase any product related to bear bile.

Tell your families and friends the truth about the bear bile industry, and encourage them to spread the word.

As a parent and teacher, please educate your children and students to respect lives.

Please donate to Animal Asia, which is working hard to save moon bears.

Write a letter to your local Chinese embassy or consulate, and condemn Gui Zhen Tang's violence and be against to their IPO.
