@windsine Ha! I wish they were bearings, unfortunatly the teeter mech relies on two rubber bushings. They have a limited lifespan and will need replacing at some point. I think the later ones are expected to lart a couple of years but it all depends on how much wind the machine gets.
That gearbox is a pretty sturdy lump!

Nothing like siting on a Gaia to get the blood pumping! Have you had to change the front bushes yet?

@ivorthom -they are bearings, not bushings I believe. what replacement interval are you experiencing? It would sem they would be a complete pain to replace. I do not like the fact that it uses the actual gearbox for the rear main shaft support. It would be nice to see TWO main bearings on the slow speed shaft before it enters the gearbox.
