My first film using Canon HG20 + Vegas to edit. The opening scene was made by turning all the lights out and using the LED light off my Nokia N96 phone. The first music is from Brian Eno's Music For Airports and the second piece is some old ska from Prince Buster.

  • What kind of color correction did you use? And camera settings

  • I used a little contrast on the first section and desaturated the colour, and I left the second (tea -making) bit as it was. It was all filmed in cine mode at 60i.

  • nice work, I love tea with a little sugar and milk. How is the camcorder? I might get on pretty soon. I use Vegas 8 platinum and soon Pro.

  • thanks for the comment - the camera is really excellent. It works better in natural or stronger light than I used in this video though.

  • @mrmookay Hi, I really loved your film. Great!

I also have a Canon HG20 but I am having troubles as I getting waves and on my films.

Did you use cineform to convert the AVCHD footage to AVI files?

Can you please help me with some ideas?

    Thanks,

    Julio

  • @mrmookay Thanks, looks great!
