  • That is totally Audray yelling during the triplet roll... hah.

  • Star 93...7 snares, 3 tenors, and 5 bass....one of the cleaniest lines. I say march the numbers that can play seriously clean beats and screw the size of the line. Sometimes I think the fans and the music judges need to just close their eyes and listen.

  • Man the tenors suck!!!!

(awaits to have his comment removed by a biased moderator)

  • @rcranger1 I know they have different sound opportunities, but they have tenor sticks now that produce virtually the same sound with a wooden tip that are shorter. I've played tenors as well.

  • @MBlood08 Most Drum Corps-- and my High School Battery use Snare Sticks on Tenors. It's just sound possibility-- not always look or feel.

    Take a deeper listen--

I suggest listening to the Cavaliers 2008 Drum Break-- listen for the difference between the Nylon and Aluminum Mallets, and the Wood of the Snare Stick.

    It's cool stuff man.

    Believe me.

    I play Tenors. XD

  • Really cool line. The quads do look a bit awkward playing with snare sticks though.

  • @TheDragonmaster18 Haha Troop is definitely not new...America's Corps baby!

  • you def don't need many in the line to play clean like that. you guys sound great

  • @jamieman28 and a big time right hand slice!

  • @TheDragonmaster18 they were one of the first corps. they created the sunburst and apparently they were the first ones to start warming up in archs with the drumline.

  • dave reeves writes some crazy stuff
