  • will a 220 work

  • @ztbowtech I wouldn't recommend a 220 they tend to be to small if you have a bigger beaver swim into it. I would say use a 330. I don't know your laws so check on what sizes and and where you can put them. In Ohio we have to have 330's totally submerged

  • will a 1.75 duke coil spring work for beaver or is it to small

  • @ztbowtech i would say it is to small. a #3 would be the smallest i would go

  • y should i go so big

  • it alowes more are area for the beaver to miss and still get caught. Bassicly the foot doesnt have to be as centralized on the pan

  • didn't see you set it?

  • @shooterb12 this is just my personal method of beaver castor mound trapping. i dont go below a #4. Beaver are big animals and easily exceed 50 lbs. their front foot isnt too big but their back is very large and requires a big jaw spread for a good catch

  • where are you in Ohio??

  • How much do you get per Beaver?

    Do Beaver reproduce fast?

  • @shooterb12

Also keep in mind how big their back feet are. The larger traps give you a better chance of catching the whole foot.
