Film Description: Just when you'd think that scientists would realize dinosaurs and humans don't mix, along comes The Lost World: Jurassic Park to prove you wrong. In this sequel, John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) summons chaos theorist and onetime colleague Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) to his home with some startling information -- while nearly everything at his Jurassic Park had been destroyed, engineers were also operating a second site, where other dinosaurs, resurrected through DNA cloning technology, had been kept in hiding. Hammond has learned the dinosaurs on the second island are alive and well and even breeding; Hammond wants Malcolm to observe and document the reptiles before Hammond's financiers can get to them. Malcolm declares he had enough of the dinosaurs the first time out, but decides to make the trip when he finds out that his girlfriend, paleontologist Sarah Harding (Julianne Moore), is already there. However, Ian and Sarah aren't the only visitors expected on the island; a camera crew led by ecological activist Nick Van Owen (Vince Vaughn) is on the way, as is Roland Tembo (Pete Postlethwaite), a world-class wild game hunter who is supposed to round up the dinosaurs and who hopes to bag a prehistoric trophy for himself in the process. This sequel to Jurassic Park boasted even more impressive special effects than the first film, though the acting and screenplay aren't always at the same level.

  • In this part my dad said in a sinsong tone: "This guy's (Ludlow) going to die pretty soon."

My classmates and I were rooting for the Rex father-daughter here. When the baby jump in for the kill one of the girls mistakenly says "Good boy!"

  • @1992Rizki I meant the baby is female, but again who really gives a damn?

  • @TFUltraGojiFan Yup, maybe the reviewers think if there are an adult animal with its baby, they'll assumed the adult is female.

  • @1992Rizki I think at was a goof-up, because various sources on the web say it's a female. Then again not everything on the internet is right, so who knows, who cares rigth? Bottom line: Great movie, 10/10

  • @1992Rizki oh lol my bad :P

  • @galvendorondo Nope, it's a male, if you watch the scene when Ian and Sarah found it in gas station, when the T-rex spot them with its baby, Sarah whispers to Ian "HE knows". The "He" word is mean the T-rex.

  • @galvendorondo The baby T-Rex was female. The male was the father you see on this clip. That hunter on the island tranquilized him and brought him to San Diego. At the time, he didn't know his daughter was on the island, too. But now that he did know, he would level the entire city just to get her back. And when he saw Ludlow with his baby, he immediately saw her as a threat. But instead of killing Ludlow, he wounded him and kept him alive so his daughter could learn to hunt.

  • gooooooood dino :)
