i remember when me and my sister were just kids, were outside at night climbing trees just to watch the skies filled with lightning. but the storm was far away over mountains that we couldn't hear a thing, just enjoy a lightshow.

@OBAMAisHalfCaste Ironic comments from someone who clearly doesnt know what other cities of comparable size are like. Ive lived in Boston, Honolulu and now Vancouver and not one of them had a comparable night life to Dublin. Going out in any of those cities is not a patch on what it is in Dublin. if you think no one goes out on Mondays and Tuesdays in dublin you must be living under a rock. And all of those cities are bigger than Dublin, Dublin has problems but socialising is not one of them.

really nice video. It's pretty rare you see lightning hit the ground in Ireland. I've seen lots of lightning storms on the continent with fork lightning and i once saw lightning hit a tree 5 metres from me (scared the living daylights out of me) but you don't get the same sound of the thunder that you get in an Ireland. It's pretty damn loud in Ireland :D

@OBAMAisHalfCaste I disagree totally, I love it here in Dublin and I know a lot of other people who do too.. I've lived in Australia , sweden, Galway and cork and I can happily say I'm going to live here for the rest of my life. Yes it has it's bad parts but I've seen much much worse in other countries..
