AFF 1- I had poor body positioning during freefall. I was given the signal to extend my legs SEVERAL times. I just couldn't extend my legs no matter how hard I tried and no matter how many times the instructor gave me the signal...just wasn't happening. At the time I thought I was, but clearly I am not. I was trying so hard that my legs started to flail a bit. The instructor grabbed my hand to do practice pulls (that's the point where we almost fall over), I was confused since I never got the ok on my body positioning and I was still trying to correct that...so my reaction was a bit panicky. Overall, I locked on the altimeter ar 6'000' and pulled at 5,000'...at least I got that right! I passed the level, but will be hitting the wind tunnel before I venture into the sky again. =)
I almost flipped onto my back(with my instructors holding tight) because I extended my legs too much and too fast.I got pointed head down a couple of timesI was over correcting for the first 20 seconds.I passed AFF 1 but was not happy with my see sawing performance. You did fine if you pass and no one gets hurt.

Thanks for sharing! If you can think at all on yout AFF1 then you did great! You saw the signals, you tried to correct, and locked on at 6k and pulled at correct altidude! The bad aff1's freeze the whole way and wrestle the instructor. Awesome! I am level 5 an still working on positive legs.... Lol need wind tunnel too!

hey that wasn't bad at all, a little shaky at the end but you did ok most of the jump. you had altitude awareness which is really important and you pulled.. that wasnt a bad AFF1

unstable? 'bad skydive'?? Looked like a pretty good skydive to me. Yes you needed more legs out, but that is all. unstable is spinning on your back..... what do did is what most AFF Level 1 students do.
I bet you passed, right?
