i watched few parts of it like the Bunji and Grave battle and from there i started watching it little by little then i saw some parts of the end where Harry and Brandon are sitting in a cafe talking about the past and what not i think some guys shoot Harry and Grave gets mad and like kills all of them then i think i'am not sure at Harrys last moment i think he said something like "Lets go back" or "Lets return back" not sure dont really rememnber but i will be sure to watch the anime

I honestly prefer this ending... I mean, while some people say Harry wasn't evil and all, let me put it this way: The guy you grew up with and called best friend, betrays you, then you spare him... as thanks, he kills you. You are brought back as a walking corpse and find that everyone you ever loved is either dead, or against you, all because of him. He sends a bunch of people to kill you, including old friends of yours. When we meet, am I gonna call him "best friend" or shoot him in the head?

@NewtypeChild I feel like there was more catharsis for the characters in the game than in the anime. Harry finally realizes his wrongdoings and allows himself to face his punishment and Brandon was finally given the freedom that they both sought when they were younger: a fresh start/blank slate after getting his revenge. The anime had the idea that friends and family must learn to forgive the unforgivable...its deep but I feel there's no justice for Brandon, Big Daddy or Maria in that ending.

Actually at the end of the anime I heard mikas voice saying welcome back i cant really tell if it was mikas or marias but it sounded more teenish so i think mikas so i think we should turn the percentage to 75% chance that he died.

@bboytips I kind of preferred the anime ending, it fit the bleakness of it way better instead of ending it like this just so its able to have a sequel

EEveryone bites the dust, Bunji, Balladbird, Blood War, Cannon Vulcan, Big Daddy etc..and it was cool that even Grave didn't escaoe the inevitable end- its better for Mila too to be able to live the peaceful normal life Maria intended instead of being with Grave around all the rampant brutality n chaos
