  • What size is your sleepypod air? I'm going to pick up a 10 week old golden retriever puppy and would have to get the small size to meet my airline's specifications. How does it get smaller?

  • I am checking with SleepyPod for you (and will send you a personal message), but if you are referring to what I said about it getting smaller, I meant collapsible from it's current state. There is no way to make this carrier smaller.

  • @courtneybriones did you end up getting the information you needed? did you get one? what did you think?

  • @stitch0jp I do not know about traveling with your kitty for 12 hours - you might check with a company like petrelocation because they deal with animals traveling all the time. the airlines might know too. you can always contact sleepypod and ask them too. i cannot give you advice because i have only used it to go to and from the vet. i can tell you that my charlie is too large for the round bed and the air is tight quarters for him.

  • @stitch0jp It depends. How big will your kitty be? Do you want the carrier to also be used as a bed? If that's the case then I would go with the Original Sleepypod. The Sleepypod air doesn't allow for much movement for your kitty - so if you plan on using your carrier for longer trips in the car and don't travel by air, then I would recommend the round Sleepypod. It really depends on what you're looking for.
