Lotus Elise R 0-170kmh Take Off & Fly By

I have recorded this grey Lotus Elise R accelerating from the pitlane of the Mugello racetrack, making a 0 to 170kmh (105mph) acceleration, and then, a fly by over 200kmh (120mph).


Ho filmato questa Lotus Elise R grigia che dalla pitlane del Mugello fa un'accelerata fino ai 170kmh, e poi una passata veloce a circa 200kmh.

I don't know, but the guy here below on the comments page told me that this Elise has been modded and has a Honda Civic Type R engine, the difference of the sound is also for that.

Elise Type R would be a European Elise originally fitted with a Rover K series but now with a Honda Engine and gearbox transplant. Lotus sold Lots of Elises before they had to put the Toyota motor in to meet emmision standards in the USA.

I'd love Honda transplant in mine but at about 10,000 pound I'll stick to carefully tuning my Rover K!
