@awilderbj , the travesty of this whole episode is that it was leaked for only one purpose and that was to cause harm to Alec. he is not my favorite celeb, but i understood this was a very emotional father communicating with a daughter who has hurt him. truly, this is not the worst thing that will happen to this young woman in her lifetime. it is really a non-event and doesn't deserve notice.

I thought it funny when my dad got mad with stuff and his favourite curse word was BAS___ARD OUT OF HELL in a quick angry gruff voice. I thought is funny and charming and SAY TO MYSELF dad is angry or annoyed AND IT FUNNY. I liked his masculinity and thought it funny dad is cursing. Alex made a little mistake. Make sure his daughter know he has a healthy good love for his daughter who is lucky to have him as a dad.

I think Alec Baldwin was the most corageous guy accepting this interview and explaining "what was it all about" because the idea that women are always right in a divorce litigation is so false! And we know that sometimes all of us say things we regret but that doens't make us horrendous! I admire A.Baldwin both humanly and professionaly so don't you worry, not the whole world is judjing you most people really love you! Hope everything turns out good to you!

i'm not from america so don't really know what barbara is like on the show but from what i've seen in all the interviews i've ever seen her in she stops them midsentce with ill-informed facts and comes across as never having a clue about the person she's interveiwing or the subject she's interviewing them about

What he needed to do is apologize NOT to his fans or to those that were offended by the voicemail, but to his daughter. It is unfortunate that such a personal misstep became public, but that does not rid him of blame for it.

Don't tell your own sob story, but humble yourself to the one person who was truly affected by this incident. Do not be sorry to the public for "how things turned out." Be sorry to your daughter. You are not the victim here, Alec. She is.
