The Prime Minister has warned that the current crisis in the Euro zone economies is as big a threat as the banking crisis of 2008. And on a day when unions in Scotland met to coordinate opposition to pension reforms, David Cameron had some tough words for workers thinking of going on strike. In other news: West Lothian is to benefit from a five million pound investment in vital services; one of Scotland's leading churchmen has warned the Scottish Government it faces a "serious chill" in relations with the Catholic hierarchy; Lothian and Borders Police have confirmed that they've launched an investigation into the singing of sectarian songs at the match between Hearts and Celtic at the weekend; and in sport, Scotland have been dealt a blow as Robert Snodgrass is ruled out of both Euro Qualification matches with an ankle injury. This is an international version of the news that may have been edited for rights reasons.
