1 - Please note that I pretty much ran the kanji lyrics through 3 different translators online, cleaned the grammar, and added my interpretations to achieve this translation. It is by no means completely accurate. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY CORRECTIONS.

2 - The Japanese language doesn't always have subjects in their sentences. My (failed) translation is merely my own interpretation, which might be totally wrong.

3 - This is not a purely literal translation.

I've also watched your "Shinkai Summit" interpretation. I'm trying to translate it by my own but I agree that some of the subjects are hard to define. I think anyone can interprate it as they want, because it refers to a feeling we all knew someday.
