This song is another W B Yeats poem, this time set to music. According to Wikipedia:-
William Butler Yeats (pronounced /ˈjeɪts/; 13 June 1865-28 January 1939) was an Anglo-Irish poet and dramatist and one of the foremost figures of 20th-century literature. A pillar of both the Irish and British literary establishments, in his later years Yeats served as an Irish Senator for two terms. He was a driving force behind the Irish Literary Revival, and along with Lady Gregory and Edward Martyn founded the Abbey Theatre, and served as its chief during its early years.
As a 17 year old, I had the pleasure of performing the Dirk Dance of the Kings of Mann on stage at the Abbey Theatre when in Dublin at a folk festival in 1963. I fell in love with Irish music at that time and have enjoyed it ever since.
