Melbourne band Geisha, fronted by Chris Doheny, had a string of hits between 1985 and 1987.
Having performed acoustic on Channel 31's Chartbusting 80s, Chris released an acoustic version of Geisha's hits on CD which proved popular.
Geisha released 7 CDs through Almacantar Records (www.almacantarrecords.com) including an unreleased album, extended mixes, demo sessions and of course an acoustic set of their material.
This is a live version of Kabuki, performed at New Capers in Hawthorn, Victoria in 2008.
Chris will return to New Capers by popular demand on August 9 2008 for a further show.
For more details on upcoming performances check the Geisha website at www.geishatheband.com

Been a fan since seeeing Fools Way on Countdown. Saw the original lineup at the Armadale Hotel in Melbourne back in 86. Thrilled they are back together but still think the first Geisha was unbeatable!
