From the works of Living Enlightenment Master Parmahamsa Nithyananda.
In this clip taken from discourse titled " Change the Unchanging Phoenomenon", Swamiji says, no need to change in the outer world nor the inner world. Continuously everything is changing, flowing, and disappearing. One understanding of this can bring an enormous healing, rest and straightway liberate you.
The complete discourse could be ordered online at www.lifeblissgalleria.com.

this is also my understanding- We shd not get bogged down by the problem itself

rather focus on thinking abt how to solve that problem &then go ahead &act on it. yup, i agree...lackadaisical attitude won't solve anything.....get proactive & think abt solutions to problem and how to solve it rather than getting bogged down by problem itself.

  • sorry, but the message is little confusing...

just staying quiet &drinking coffee is just lackadaisical attitude.... won't solve any practical real life problems at hand! i thnk what swami really means is that we shd think about how to resolve the problem & take practical steps to solve it without expecting any fruits......that would be in line with karma yoga. We shd not get bogged down by the problem itself but rather focus on thinking abt how to solve that problem and then act on it.

one of the comments abt obsession was right . But, then I was not able to know how did you branch out into karma//solutions? I totally agree with the theory of karma but I feel that you extended it into something like -solving the problem by making concious effort to engage into action thoughts, and the advice that v shd ve action thoughts whatever that means-and ve no control over the results which was not the core to what swamiji intended to convey in this clip

I think he is hinting at everything shall pass. Do not think he is talking about the karma here.Understanding that everything is constantly changing should help you drop your worries, greed, anxiety, pain, pleasure, struggle. Thats what he ment when he mentioned that a simple new thought of having a cup of coffee wd be strong enough to replace the previous thought of fear of death.

  • I understand this since it is adressing some of my own experiences. Thanks!

  • So if we are thinking no its not safe to think that wonderful thought that thatcomes reality. But if we think the thought I am beautiful we will become that and still become that in a more expansive way?

What if we were at one point negative and I dont know a vampire and then we want to become pure goodness can that be done..with thoughts that make us feel good. versus thoughts that bring fear and darkness???

I think i got it maybe I just want a little reassurance

  • If you watch the 'Be Unclutched Part 1 and 2' series here on youtube, it will go much deeper into this spiritual practice that Swamiji is expressing. He is talking about unclutching from the thoughts/fear and greed.

  • Great Message....Swamiji is just trying to explain about "not aking life so seriously"...it is a technique to overcome fear and unwanted thoughts that intrude your innerspace for a while...Nithyanandam

  • perhaps I need to clarify myself here: I mean to say :

"So what we should do is to be proactive and make a conscious effort (do our duty/karma) to replace our nagging problematic thought with thoughts of action/solutions (TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM)ie we should engage our minds with thoughts of action/solutions (TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM) as opposed to the problematic thought itself

Finally, we should go ahead and implement these thoughts of action/solutions (do our 'karma'). The mind is now totally preoccupied with these new thoughts!

All this 'Karma' should be performed with proper knowledge that we have no control over the end results (ie with the knowledge that everything is constantly changing and we don't know what will actually happen.
