@QED1964 you must be a fatass, 10 miles is nothing even on a BMX

@mailpauljonescouk And then again, how many of those do actually have quite a journey into town. Cycling although the healthier option, 10 miles plus is simply out of the question for most people. Public transport? A joke. The only real viable alternatives are the car or a better option, motorcycle. I would imagine that over the course of 10+miles, most if not all of those you pass in this clip, would come sailing past you. The only difference is, they are not sad enough to post it on YT

Geeze are you actually on a push bike? You're hammering it past everyone, even other cyclists!
-
i fucking hate cyclists. they should have insurance/road tax. they cause so many fucking accidents by cycling double file and not giving a shit, thinking they own the fucking road.

If this video won't make you at least consider leaving the car home and cycling to work instead, I don't know what will :)

Luv it!!

Sure makes people re consider that MYTH that cars are faster

It is nice to see a road that works in the cyclist's favour. There aren't any bike/bus lanes in my part of the country and all the red lane cycle tracks are made useless with parked cars.

If the customers are there, business will come, you know.
How many of those drivers could have taken the bike or public transport? Even with a "bike congestion" it would be much faster getting through.
Imagine being in that car queue because you NEED your vehicle in the city, knowing that 70% of the line in front of you sit there because they LIKE the car in the city.

This is why motorists could do with respecting cyclists a bit more. How many of the car occupants are AFRAID to cycle because of bad experiences in pushy traffic? The queue would certainly be shorter.
