@MealMakeoverTV isn't it that "vergin", cold extracted oils (although better for salads) generally have lower smoking point than refined ones?

@truthseeker2007 I agree. I would also include butter and lard as good cooking oils as well. Ditch the gm canola, ditch the shortening. Olive up is better to drizzle on to food cuz it burns up too soon. Im a huge fan of coconut oil.

what do you recomend for wok cooking ?

Peanut oil is a high-heat oil and ideal for wok cooking. Canola oil is also a high-heat oil and would hold up well in a wok.
