He was the master as far as I'm concerned. Never as big a name as some DJs but there's a subltey to what he does, such as this clip, and no-one was a better tune picker for the moment. May he live to a hundred and get laid every night!

still got about 50 hac tapes but all me good ones disappeared!!!as this is one of them..ive got many of the tunes on vinyl but those tapes round that period in time where the finest house and garage music ever!!!

Superb. can you repost the link for the download, can't find it. Lucky enough to have made it up there a couple of times and lived off 4 of his tapes. He turned everything on its head, never heard anything like it before or since. Does anyone have the 2 copy mix he did of Workout (Frankie knuckles)?

I've updated the comments above with the links where I got the mp3s from. I've just realised I lost not only the original tape but also the mp3s, so I'm off to download it again :)

i have lokked for this mix for yonks, i had it on tape and like a silly cow loand loads of tapes n never got them back agggghhhhh but hey thank you sooooo much for this post;0
