Oh wow! So in Gladiator - also a great film - when you can also see men wearing jeans, sometimes carrying clipboards, and cars parked behind trees, what Ridley Scott is really saying that the Roman Empire was in fact successful do to it's advanced weaving skills, it's organised management/paperwork, and vehicles from the future? You have opened my eyes and blown my mind. I will never look at continutity errors or goofs in the same way again...
