Syrian national language is Arabic that's why they are define as Middle Easterners. But the proportion of people in any of the Middle Eastern countries that speak another language is small. Syria being the most diverse Arab country, nonetheless more then 95% of the population speak Arabic. You cant use a minority to define where a country belongs as a whole, its an completely illogical and baseless argument. Its like saying Pakistanis are Iranians since Urdu is derived from Farsi lol.
