have this netbook for year and half and its amazing and i would recommend it to anyone. bought for business purpose as ultraportable. u can run half life 2 in max settings, max resolution with 50 fps. but ofcourse this is not gaming laptop but i play games on it too :), true battery lasts about hour and half medium usage and it is heating on 70 degrees when playing some heavier game but you can buy bigger battery from lenovo and u can turn cooling fan to maximum in bios and that helps alot

When they were still referred to as IBM thinkpads (not lenovos) they were an
excellent laptop. I plan on getting a x100e soon, and hope it will live
up to my expectations. Back in early 2000's, the my dad had a few ibm thinkpads for work, and i tried them out. A mite bit minimalistic as far as ports go, but a very well-rounded lappy. Nice case (Love the matte, rubberized black) Really nice keyboard response, fairly modest display, and while most people hate the little dot mouse i like it.

These computers are absolute shit. Why on earth are people so obsessed with a SINGLE CORE 1.6 netbook?

lenovos mostly lack in style but are really easy to use.

Japenese?

Will you do an unboxing and review of the X120e when it's released?

@auesr Yep. Some 1080p flash videos can lag just a bit. (Dual core)
is it too slow ?
it looks quite slow

@jackffm at normal speed it is quite good (can play HL2, WoW at native res) but on the lowest battery setting it is quite sluggish.

really thinking of buying a netbook to take with me to uni, would you recommend the X100E?

@MainlyFlames If you're not worried about battery life then I do recommend it.
