BetterTasteThanU, I don't know where you get anti-American from, he was a believer in the democratic political system and the right to free speech and he stuck out his neck for it. He was against American tendencies to right wing authoratarianism and xenophobia, but I suppose they are traits an American should be proud of right?

You should learn something about Zappa if you really believe that. Not only was he an amazing composer and guitar player, he was an American hero that stood up to Congress in support of free speech.
