  • This most likely is from the 7:25 or 8:25 a.m. local news break, when many NBC stations have local news inserts. I think that "Today" production staff calls these breaks "co-ops. In the mid-1980s, the 8:25 a.m. "co-op" often was a continuation of the "After Eight" interview segment. Otherwise, the type of chit-chat in this video extended into both breaks.
