the airbrush seems to me more like a blur than an airbrush. can you use the blob brush very well with a mouse? all I have is a mouse.

This really isn't any better than using the regular brush tool and just converting the stroke to outlines... It might save you two seconds.

blob tool converts strokes to outlines + expands them + add and expands lines of the same colour. It's not as rinky dink as you'd expect. The only major con is it's harder to adjust a line after you've drawn it, but if your using a table its not much effort to redraw. good video
