I believe Obama won this debate by far! Mccain was trying to start a fight and to me he came off bitter, desperate, and rude. Plus he did not seem to give us anything new, he was on a smear mission to make the other guy look bad instead of telling us why he is good.

you missed the point of my comment:

it's more about people choosing a candidate for stupid reasons such as "he's black", "he doesn't smile" or "he smiles too much" that makes me nausis of this whole election and hearing something like "people don't like him for being handicapped" just makes the process seem petty

Not trying to challenge you and side with mikedonn71 (Is McCain's even handicapped?). Back to the point, FDR knows people will not like the fact of his disabilities because of polio. Therefore, his campaigne only features him from the waist up and he's optimistic and content. So image does play a role in the FDR election too. Just saying.

look not that I'm one political affiliation or the other but don't make stupid comments like this ... it just makes you look like an indiot. State the actual issues of the candidates and why you spport or oppose their stance. When you do vote, don't vote because of race, creed, or certainly physical disability. Vote for who you feel will lead this country best, whether they are Republican, Democrate or somewhere in between.
